Guido's Green Garden, Episode 3

After eight weeks of careful nursing, my onion and brussel sprouts were destroyed by a wild animal. The neighbours say it could have been ground squirrels, but I have sighted rabbits before, too. For one week I had hardened the young plants for the big wide world, before they were murdered in broad daylight, one day before I was going to transplant them.

Oh well, I’ll have to sow everything without a head start then.
